Therefore – and this is my personal opinion – the result of a written assessement rarely corresponds to the linguistic reality. And what do we do more? Speaking or writing?

Since most of us spend much more time talking, oral assessments are those reflecting real proficiency and this is the resaon why oral assessments are my focus.
